Whoohoooo… it arrived!
Nathanael and Teya hanging out on the first day of 2009. Aren’t they adorable?

Distance vision has now come in. Colours are better the the new eye but it’s still a little strange.
Near vision is still fuzzy but I was surprised by ability to read close text at the surgeons office.
Hopefully it’ll all come in shortly.
I do still see the edge of the lense on the right side, which is very annoying. The dr said I was the second ReSTOR patient to mention this in the last two months.. oh lucky me. I also see wobble sometimes which is really strange.. again, oh lucky me.
The cataract eye surgery went well, albeit I still can’t see properly and am having some really weird side-effects. But the Dr was pleased with the results.. let’s just hope I can see again properly in the next few weeks.
What a wonderful time we had at the Outerbanks for Thanksgiving this year.
We spent time with great friends, old and new, relaxed, let Parker play on the beach,
played with Nathanael, ate heartily and played some golf.
At fleet station (oh the memories!!) heading to Woking for the bus and then to heathrow.

Nothing like a ham sandwhich and cup of coffee to start a travel day off right.
It was very hard to leave this morning. Nathanael had an ‘adorability-factor’ of about 1000.
