Wow, how time has flown by. We cannot believe that our little boy has turned 1. We are amazed everyday with his progress and the new things he learned. Even the smallest things he finds amuzing, like touching Parker’s soft ears, or if we gently blow in his face. Funniest is to kiss the shower door when someone kisses back on the other side.

Vision

27 12 2008

Distance vision has now come in. Colours are better the the new eye but it’s still a little strange.

Near vision is still fuzzy but I was surprised by ability to read close text at the surgeons office.

Hopefully it’ll all come in shortly.

I do still see the edge of the lense on the right side, which is very annoying. The dr said I was the second ReSTOR patient to mention this in the last two months.. oh lucky me. I also see wobble sometimes which is really strange.. again, oh lucky me.

Surgery

10 12 2008

The cataract eye surgery went well, albeit I still can’t see properly and am having some really weird side-effects. But the Dr was pleased with the results.. let’s just hope I can see again properly in the next few weeks.

Outerbanks for Thanksgiving

1 12 2008

What a wonderful time we had at the Outerbanks for Thanksgiving this year.

Morning has broken

We spent time with great friends, old and new, relaxed, let Parker play on the beach, Nathanaelplayed with Nathanael, ate heartily and played some golf.

Frukost at the airport

25 09 2008

Nothing like a ham sandwhich and cup of coffee to start a travel day off right.

It was very hard to leave this morning. Nathanael had an ‘adorability-factor’ of about 1000.
